Le Bonheur Club’s annual fundraising campaign focuses on the specific needs of the kids at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital. Referred to as Gold Tag, this program is our primary means for funding necessary capital campaigns, endowments and other vital projects that serve the children of our community and beyond. We have supported many projects, since funding the Hospital’s opening in 1952, including the Family Resource Center which is a place of respite for families needing a break from their treatment and a specially equipped pediatric ambulance.

Our current fundraising project is a $1 million commitment to the Le Bonheur Outpatient Rehabilitation Center East which is the largest and most significant outpatient rehabilitation facility for children in our region. It allows families to receive specialized pediatric rehabilitation services closer to home and provides more than 15,000 hours of evaluation and therapy to children in need each year.

Please consider donating to this important cause. 100% of your contribution will go directly to improving the lives of children.

SPECIAL WAYS YOU CAN HELP:

Le Bonheur Club strives to find new ways to support our mission of fundraising and providing volunteer service to Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital by gaining the support of our local community. We would love to partner with you or your organization to support children in need. Here are some special ways you can help.

    • Bunny Lane – Help us help the kids at Le Bonheur by purchasing an item (or two!) from our selected list of toys. Children travel through Bunny Lane on their way to the operating room and select a toy that will be with them when they wake up from surgery. It’s the oldest and most loved Le Bonheur tradition! Shop our BUNNY LANE Collection on Amazon.
    • In Kind Program: Le Bonheur Club’s In Kind Committee works to provide necessary items both for direct distribution to the children at the Hospital and for our various fundraising events via community outreach. If you or your organization have items you feel could be utilized by the Hospital or the Club, please reach out to us at any time.
    • Sponsor a Casual Day: Consider sponsoring a casual day at your office or place of business and donate the funds to Le Bonheur Club. By donating a designated amount, such as $10 or $20, employees are entitled to dress casually on a specific day. To make it even more fun, encourage your employees to get creative by hosting a Crazy Hat Day, Outrageous Socks Day or Your Favorite Sports Team Day.
    • School Fundraisers: Getting your school involved in a fundraiser or toy drive to support the Hospital can be so much fun! Here are a few ideas to get you started.
    • Donations Competition: Encourage competition among the grades or classes at your school by asking students to donate over a certain time period or by asking them to donate in specific denominations like dollar bills, quarters or pennies. The grade or class raising the most money at the end of the competition wins a prize or party.
    • Sales & Events: Get your school’s PTA or PTO to consider hosting a fundraiser. Consider creating a cookbook, calendar or T-shirt to sell to parents and at school events. Organize a car wash, offer gift-wrapping services during the holidays or have a bake sale. The possibilities are endless, so think outside the box.
    • Host a Fun Run or Sports Tournament: Work with your coaches to organize a fun run at the school or host a kickball, basketball or soccer tournament. Have participants collect pledges for the run or charge an entrance fee for all teams and spectators attending the tournament.
    • Toy Drives: One of Le Bonheur Club’s signature projects is Bunny Lane. Before each child has surgery at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital, he or she receives a toy to ease their fears and make their day brighter. Generous donations from throughout our community keep this program thriving. Schools and businesses often coordinate large drives and many sweet children have donated the toys from their birthday parties to benefit Bunny Lane. Shop our BUNNY LANE Collection on Amazon.
    • Lemonade for Le Bonheur: Kids love setting up an old-fashioned lemonade stand which is the perfect way to help support the kids at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital. Le Bonheur Club will supply you with a colorful banner, stickers for your cups, ideas for your stand and instructions on how to submit your donations. This is a fun project that can be done year-round.
    • Retail Shopping: A simple way to help the kids at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital is to sign up for a retail program that returns a portion of the money you spend back to Le Bonheur Club. It’s easy to do and you can invite your family and friends to join as well. Simply go to the following websites, sign up and the Club will receive a portion of every dollar you spend.
