Le Bonheur Club’s membership includes vibrant, dedicated and passionate women with various backgrounds and occupations brought together by a common thread of love and service for Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital. Their spirit for helping others and giving hearts allows Le Bonheur Club to provide countless hours of service and hundreds of thousands of dollars to Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital each year.

OUR INCOMING PRESIDENT:

September Eason

99th President of Le Bonheur Club

September Eason has been a member of Le Bonheur Club for the past ten years, where she’s taken on various roles and responsibilities, including Bunny Lane, Gold Tag Campaign, Recording Secretary, Benefit, Community events, Retail, and serving as Parliamentarian. Her connection to Le Bonheur runs deep, stemming from a heartfelt experience when her youngest daughter, Annaleigh, received life-saving care at the hospital eleven years ago. This profound experience led September and her husband Bob to become active members of the Le Bonheur National Leadership Council and Family Partners.

As parents of three adult children, their family has diverse pursuits: Renn is a second-year medical student at the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center, Evey works as a private wealth management analyst for Morgan Stanley in Atlanta, and Annaleigh is a sophomore at the University of Alabama. Before her involvement with the club, September spent more than a decade in the corporate world, with roles as a Global Account Manager for United Parcel Service (UPS) and later as a logistics consultant. Her retirement from the corporate world allowed her to engage in various civic and family-oriented roles.

Beyond her Le Bonheur commitments, September has actively served on various boards, including the St. Georges Memphis Board, The Hutchison Parents Association Board, Rhodes College Parent Council, and the Kappa Kappa Gamma Literacy is Key Committee. She is a member of Germantown Presbyterian Church, where she has worn multiple hats, from serving as an interim Children’s Sunday School and VBS director to being a first-grade teacher and large group assistant. This year, she’s focusing on membership development.

September’s educational journey began at the University of Georgia, where she earned a degree in International Business. She then continued with a global logistics certificate from Georgia Tech and completed coursework in Professional and Organizational Management at the University of Memphis. Originally hailing from Newnan, Georgia.

She is thrilled the club is again partnering with Chef Kelly English and Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital to host Le Bon Appetit on June 8, 2024 and hopes everyone will plan to attend.
