Le Bonheur Club’s membership includes vibrant, dedicated and passionate women with various backgrounds and occupations brought together by a common thread of love and service for Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital. Their spirit for helping others and giving hearts allows Le Bonheur Club to provide countless hours of service and hundreds of thousands of dollars to Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital each year.
OUR PRESIDENT:
Jamie Adams Harris
101st President of Le Bonheur Club
Jamie holds a Bachelor’s degree in English and Master’s in Public Health. She is a former fundraiser for United Way and Muscular Dystrophy Association, and is a long-time advocate for infants and children’s health. After having a son born with critical congenital heart defects, Jamie began lobbying the legislature to expand newborn screening to include oxygen saturation testing (pulse oximetry). Though the measure did not pass in 2004 or 2005, pulse oximetry is now recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics and has been added to the U.S. Recommended Uniform Screening Panel.
She was appointed to Mississippi’s Infant Mortality Task Force and served as co-Chair of the Child Fatality Review for 8 years. She is a former Board Member and two time Gala Chair for Page Robbins Adult Day Center.
During Jamie’s time in Le Bonheur Club, she has chaired Teens, Marketing, Gold Tag, and Ways and Means, and served as Assistant Treasurer, Treasurer, and Finance Chair. She was the 2022-23 Volunteer services award recipient for Le Bonheur Club. Jamie is the Director of Sourcing for GNH Designs and loves playing tennis, mahjong, and traveling. She is married to Ross Harris, CEO of A3 Freight Payment. Jamie and Ross have three daughters Pam, Sidney, and Ruth Ann, and a 12 year old pug named Charlie!
